Hello 👋🏼, i’m Josiane Tochetto, Senior UX Researcher at Grupo Boticário.

Through my work, I aim to deeply understand business scenarios, users, and their respective needs, connecting different perspectives through data and insights that better guide decision-making and help build simple and humanized experiences.

I am naturally curious and pursue continuous growth and learning (lifelong learning) through constant courses and specializations. I hold specializations in Business Marketing (UFPR), User-Centered Design – Interaction Design (UP), and in Technology, Data Science, and Digital Transformation for Business (UNESC). In 2021, I was a special student in the Master’s Program in Design at UFSC, where I took courses in User-Centered Design and Systemic Approach to Design Management, with a focus on Innovation.

Throughout my professional journey, I have worked as a UI/UX & Product Designer in consulting companies (GAVB) and insurance (Junto), in addition to having over 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer. These experiences have given me an integrated perspective, from the initial concept to the final impact of the product. I evolved my role as a Product Designer by specializing in UX Research, an area in which I have been working for at least 3 years. My approach is characterized by the ability to align user needs with business goals, always striving to create intuitive and user-centered experiences.

I have experience in planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, often combining methods to obtain more valuable insights for the context of digital products. I strive to facilitate evidence-based decisions, connecting internal and external data to research execution through data-informed approaches. I pay special attention to data analysis and synthesis, promoting access to relevant information for all stakeholders in a clear, visual, and democratic manner. Additionally, I actively contribute to the development and evolution of research processes, such as guides, repositories, and research templates.

I have been increasingly seeking to identify opportunities and connect research objectives with user metrics, deepening my knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Python, as well as quantitative analysis and statistical concepts applied to UX research.
